I’ve had a wonderful journey here at First Baptist Child Development Center for the last 28 years. The center opened its doors in August 1989 and it has been a work in progress, full speed ahead. God has blessed me with the desire to provide a nurturing learning environment for children in the North Myrtle Beach community. My desire to do so is just as strong today as it was in 1989. To God be the Glory.

I started working in child care while I was in college.  What I thought would be a temporary job has turned into a lifetime career.  Before becoming Assistant Director at FBCDC, I've had the opportunity to teach different age groups.  The majority of my teaching experience has been with four year olds.  The Lord has Blessed me with three beautiful children of my own.  My family is very happy to be part of the First Baptist NMB family.

Each staff is trained in infant/child CPR, first aid, communicable disease recognition, and child abuse prevention and recognition.

Each staff attends sessions in child development and teaching methods to ensure the best care for your child.
